About Me
My name is Rachel Sandage.

I am 32 years old, born and raised in Houston, TX in the US, and have been living in Copenhagen with my partner and our cat for nearly 4 years. The pleasures of life I enjoy most, besides yoga, include quality time with friends/family, gardening, travel, music, arts, and nature. I also love to laugh and not take myself too seriously! :P
I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelors degree in
Hotel & Restaurant Management, with an emphasis in Event Planning. Thus, my professional background is found in management within hotels, restaurants, and event venues. This is where my love grew for creating enjoyable and meaningful experiences for others.
My experience as yoga teacher began over 3 years ago, while my practice of yoga started about 7 years ago.
During these years, I have learned more deeply about the Vinyasa and Yin styles. I enjoy the balance of working with flowing, dynamic movement and calming, meditative deep-release.
It is important to me that yoga is accessible and enjoyable to every body, no matter their ability, disability, flexibility, age, or size. Depending on the style, my classes provide energy and strength or calm and relaxation.
I focus on integrating movement, breath, and meditation to achieve a feeling of overall physical and emotional wellness.
